Searchlight was founded in 1945 and remains a family owned
business now into its third generation. We are based in Manchester
in a purpose built 120,000 sq ft distribution centre, incorporating
a 16,000 sq ft uniquely designed showroom, a fully equipped
95,000 sq ft warehouse and an open-plan sales / administration
suite.
We employ in excess of 130 people and sell to over 750 independent
and well known high street store groups in the UK servicing
the decorative, hotel, contract and residential lighting markets.
We also have a joint venture with a Chinese manufacturer
which means our products are now sold under the ‘Searchlight’
brand worldwide.

your orders are shipped ON TIME with minimum back-orders.
We anticipate needs through constant study of field demand
and have allocated over 6 million cubic feet to warehouse
finished stock!
